Making any kind of pancake requires only a few ingredients and from there, it’s a simple process to go from batter to a delicious pancake(s) on your plate.

Taking your first bite into a fluffy pancake as a kid (or at any age) is an unforgettable and enjoyable experience that one does not forget. It is for that reason that pancakes remain popular among many adults, as it brings back memories from their childhood.

Pancakes are also enjoyed by many different cultures around the globe. There's always some kind of pancake item on the menu, although they do vary in taste and style. Take Canada for example; their Beavertails are a mixture between a pancake and a cinnamon sugar doughnut. Instead of being cooked on a griddle like a traditional American pancake, they are made with pancake batter and then deep fried like a doughnut, and lastly dipped in the cinnamon sugar. Another twist on a pancake, but yet very similar, is Mexico’s Hotcake. The difference between the American Buttermilk Pancake and Mexico’s Hotcake is that the Hotcake is infused with cinnamon and is a lot thicker than traditional pancakes. Almost everybody is able to identify with some kind of “pancake”.
