Hard boiled eggs were standard snack fare on the farm and in the saphouse for many years. They would be left to simmer in the syrup pans for hours and they were cheap! These pickled eggs have the addition of vinegar and spices, to enhance their shelf life, but still reminiscent of days gone by and farm tradition. Serve cold as a snack or chopped into salads.
